Just know this: you’ve got to wire it up to a properly rated 240V circuit. No shortcuts.

The halogen cycle does a pretty neat trick: it keeps the quartz envelope clean, so the light output stays consistent over the life of the bulb. This design also lets the filament run hotter, which means it heats up faster. And the R7s base? It’s a double-ended, linear connector that gives you a solid, reliable connection. It’s simple, it handles high current, and once it’s in, it stays put—even with vibration.
