We built this R7S halogen heating lamp to be a straight-up swap for the industrial workhorses that need intense heat, fast. It’s a compact 20.25 inches, runs on 240V, and packs 1600W of focused infrared power. Here’s the thing: running on 240V keeps the current manageable on standard plant circuits. That means less strain on the wiring and easier sizing for contactors. And packing 1600W into a tube this size gives you serious heat density—so you get a rapid warm-up and tight thermal control in those tight spots. Just know this: it runs hot. So the fixture and reflector around it have to be ready for that kind of heat.

We rely on the halogen cycle to keep the quartz envelope stable, even at high filament temps. That helps the lamp stay consistent over its life, instead of fading out. And the quartz tube?
