Why the size and power matter

We stuck with the 22.25" length because it just fits. It slides right into most industrial drying tunnels without a fight. But here is the real secret: the shortwave spectrum. Instead of wasting energy heating up the air around the lamp, this thing punches the heat directly into the ink layer. It ramps up fast. Really fast. And that means you can crank up the speed of your line without worrying about whether the cure is actually holding.

Keeping things clear (and intact)

Ever notice how some lamps get cloudy over time? We stopped that by using a halogen gas fill. It triggers a “halogen cycle” that keeps the tungsten filament from evaporating and gunking up the glass. Since the tube stays crystal clear, the infrared radiation hits your target instead of getting trapped in the glass. We also used a high-grade quartz envelope. The quartz handles those sudden temperature swings so the tube doesn’t just snap.

Getting them running

These are simple drop-in replacements. You can wire them into your current controllers and you’re good to go. No need to rebuild your chassis. Just a heads-up, though. 1500W of shortwave energy puts out alotof radiant heat. Keep your reflectors spotless. If dust or oxidation builds up, your efficiency tanks, and the lamp might burn out early because the heat has nowhere to go. Also, double-check your cooling fans. You want enough airflow to keep the housing cool so you aren’t constantly tripping your thermal cut-offs.
