We built this 850mm lamp specifically for those moments where you can’t afford to wait. It’s designed for high-intensity infrared heating that hits hard and hits fast. Since it’s 850mm long, it covers a lot of ground. It’s basically a plug-and-play replacement for most large-scale setups. The power side of things We went with 415V and 2000W for a reason. It gives you a ton of heat density without making your wiring a nightmare. If you used a lower voltage, you’d be dealing with massive current draws and voltage drops across your factory floor. Instead, you get concentrated shortwave IR. The best part? It doesn’t just toast the surface of your material; it actually sinks in deep and fast. Why quartz and halogen? Industrial environments are brutal. You’re flipping the power on and off constantly, which creates massive thermal shock. We used high-purity quartz because it can handle that stress without cracking. Then there’s the halogen gas inside. Without it, the tungsten filament would just evaporate and coat the inside of the glass in a cloudy film. The gas keeps the tube crystal clear, so you actually get that full 2000W of power for the long haul. A few things to keep in mind Wiring this into a standard 400V-415V grid is pretty straightforward. And because it’s shortwave radiation, the heat is almost instant. It’s satisfying, really. But here’s the catch:this thing gets incredibly hot. A 2000W tube in a frame this size puts out a serious amount of radiant heat. Before you slide it in, double-check your cooling fans and heat sinks. If they aren’t up to the task, you might fry your lamp holders or mess up your sensors. One last tip? Keep your reflectors clean. A little bit of dust might seem harmless, but it kills your efficiency and creates hot spots on the quartz. Keep them shiny, and the lamp will do the rest.
