A Quick Guide to Our 220V 800W Halogen Heat Lamps
If you need heat—and you need it now—these 800W halogen lamps are your best bet. We built them for those situations where you can’t afford to sit around waiting for a heater to warm up. The speed is the big story here. Most heaters take forever because they have to warm up the air around them first. Not these. They blast out short-wave infrared radiation that hits your target directly. It’s almost instant. You flip the switch, and you feel the heat immediately. Why they actually last You’ve probably seen cheap bulbs burn out in no time. We use a halogen gas mixture inside a quartz envelope to stop that from happening. The gas basically cleans the filament as it works, pushing the tungsten back where it belongs so the lamp doesn’t just give up on you. But a quick word of advice:don’t touch the glass. Seriously. If you get a fingerprint or a bit of oil on the tube, it creates a “hot spot” that can crack the quartz. It’s a pain, but just give the tubes a quick wipe with some isopropyl alcohol before you hook them up. Your future self will thank you. Using them in the real world These are great for saunas or any spot where you need concentrated warmth. A lot of people use them to replace those bulky infrared panels.
